So, the IC's are ESD sensitive, and also a pain to carry around. I made a little box with esd foam inside to facilitate carrying and storing the IC's. I know that esd boxes exsist, but they are not readily available where i live.
I took a small portable chess, threw out the figures. I bought a sheat of ESD foam from www.conrad.de ( the order number is 172367 - 62 if anybody is interested). The foam comes in 30 x 30 cm sheats so i cut it to the chess box size and put it in.
The final product looks something like this:
And you have a nice functional, portable ESD safe box.
(you probably looked at this blog post and said it looks like shit. well the blogger post editing tool is absolutely unusable. if you know a different way to edit posts let me know)
